ECIAfrica Consulting (Pty) Ltd. is an international development consultancy operating in Southern and Eastern Africa, which offers economic development solutions to various donor agencies, governments and private sector entities.
In preparation for several forthcoming donor-funded projects in the region (Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe), ECIAfrica is updating its Associate Consultant Database, and is therefore seeking Technical Experts in:
Agriculture and Rural Development; Enterprise Development; Trade and Tourism; Development Finance; Infrastructure and Service Delivery; Policy and Governance; Public Finance; and Health and HIV/AIDS.

- Post graduate degree in the relevant fields
- Proven team management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (for Mozambique – based projects)
General Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience, 6 years in subject-related work in a leading position as Technical Expert or Team Leader
- Expertise in technical and financial programme management, preferably related to development cooperation
- Programme management experience (technical and financial), including strategic development, institutional assessments, assessment and approval of grant applications, financial management and reporting, monitoring ad evaluation.
- Experience in working with donor agencies such as DFID, EU, MCC, SDC, USAID, SIDA, and WB.
- Experience dealing with multi-sectoral institutions and government (local/provincial and national).
Technical Experts
Qualifications and Skills
- Post graduate degree in the relevant fields
- Proven team management and communication skills
